Handler also began working as the correspondent to The Tonight Show. Handler got her first major break in the form of hosting her own E! Show in 2006. The show was named the Chelsea Handler Show. The show lasted for two seasons. Handler was then seen in the United States as part of the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have shown her stand-up performances live. It was announced in 2010 that she will be hosting the MTV Video Music Awards 2010. With this, she became only the second female to host the VMA's, following Roseanne Barr.
